Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Pocatello came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Thunder Ridge, but Deegan Branson wouldn't allow it. The Thunder Ridge Titans blew past the Pocatello Thunder 82-57 on Wednesday thanks in part to Branson, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and five rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Thunder Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Pocatello, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
