Genesee Valley's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2-1. As for Andover, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-4-1.

Genesee Valley took their victory against Andover in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
