Basketball Recap: Highmore/Harrold Starts off Right with Win over Jones County

Highmore/Harrold gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 victory over the Jones County Coyotes. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 46-40 win the Coyotes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highmore/Harrold will take on Wolsey-Wessington in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Jones County and Colome will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
