Thomas More Prep-Marian won the last time they faced Wichita County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Monarchs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Monarchs.

Thomas More Prep-Marian never let Wichita County on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Piper Simpson paced Thomas More Prep-Marian's offense, picking up four kills. Simpson got some help from Bria Windholz and her nine assists. Brynn Rebel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Allison Hernandez and Cele Baker certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hernandez had 13 digs and two aces, while Baker had five digs and three aces.

Thomas More Prep-Marian's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Wichita County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
