Basketball Recap: Nute Comes Up Short

Nute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-41 loss at the hands of the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 66-43 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Nute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nute will square off against Newmarket at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they will face off against Epping at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth Christian Academy is facing Epping at the right time seeing as Epping is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
