Baseball Recap: Grant's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Grant was feeling good fresh off their 14-7 takedown of Tri County Area on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 14-7.

Austin Gragg was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grant fell to 3-1. As for Tri County Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

While Grant had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
