If Columbia wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hazel Green, they should've done a better job of containing Lily Nelson. The Trojans blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Nelson, who had 16 assists. Nelson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hazel Green was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-6.

Hazel Green's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Columbia, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Hazel Green will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on East Limestone at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Lee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
