White County extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Tripp Pinion. The White County Warriors enjoyed a cozy 73-54 win over the Cumberland County Jets on Friday thanks in part to Pinion, who went 16 of 25 en route to 41 points and seven rebounds. Those 41 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Griffin, who posted seven points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

White County's record is now 11-14. As for Cumberland County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

White County and Cumberland County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. White County (ranked 194th) will meet Upperman (ranked 31st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Cumberland County will challenge Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 219 places (278 vs. 59).
