Soccer Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville lost against Lowell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Red Arrows, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Greenville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 307th, while Lowell are ranked 84th).

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lowell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will take on Cedar Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Lowell, they will square off against Coopersville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
