Baseball Recap: Chandler Prep Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Chandler Prep won the last time they faced Coronado and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chandler Prep Titans put the hurt on the Coronado Dons with a sharp 14-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Derek Tucker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Henry Allen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Niall Schubring was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Chandler Prep has already played their next match, a 12-2 win against ALA - Anthem South on the 28th. As for Coronado, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-7 loss against Pinon on the 28th.
