Basketball Recap: Montezuma Comes Up Short

After flying high against H-L-V last Tuesday, Montezuma came back down to earth. The Montezuma Braves took a 57-41 bruising from the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets on Saturday. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Montezuma's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.

Coming up, Montezuma will take on Albia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
