Volleyball Recap: Edon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Edon lost against Stryker back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bombers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. While the Bombers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-18 in the first set.

Edon took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-11, 15-6.

Lucy Morris paced Edon's offense, picking up 18 kills. Morris got some help from Genna Ripke and her 34 assists. Madison Baker controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Edon's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Stryker, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Edon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stryker, after both having extra time off, they and Edgerton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
