Basketball Recap: Miami Takes a Loss

Miami was the 60-51 winner over Apache Junction when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vandals fell just short of the Prospectors by a score of 44-42 on Monday. The Vandals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miami now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Apache Junction, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami will take on Alchesay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vandals' defense better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 59 points per game this season. As for Apache Junction, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Palo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Prospectors' defense better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 57.1 points per game this season.
