East Kentwood came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Ottawa Panthers a 2-0 shutout. Give East Kentwood's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

East Kentwood's win bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for West Ottawa, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2-3.
