Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Lincoln Academy's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Lincoln Academy won the last time they faced Maine Central Institute and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lincoln Academy Eagles took down the Maine Central Institute Huskies 62-44. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Huskies are ranked 93rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Maine Central Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
