Soccer Recap: Beacon Hill Comes Up Short

Beacon Hill lost against Newbury Park Adventist back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beacon Hill Gryphon fell just short of the Newbury Park Adventist Gators by a score of 4-3. Beni Georgescu probably wasn't too happy after the game: he scored every single goal for the Gryphon and still walked away on the losing team.

Beacon Hill now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Newbury Park Adventist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beacon Hill will venture away from home to square off against Lighthouse Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they will square off against Glendale Adventist at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Newbury Park Adventist's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five matches.
