Dixie Heights and Conner are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Colonels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dixie Heights has given up an average of 38.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dixie Heights is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 62 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Cooper on Friday. They were outmatched by the Jaguars and fell 42-13. The Colonels haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conner). They claimed a resounding 53-14 victory over Boone County.

Conner's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Dixie Heights, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.

Dixie Heights came up short against Conner when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 35-31. Can the Colonels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
