Volleyball Game Preview: Calexico Mission RoadRunners vs. West Shores Wildcats

The Calexico Mission RoadRunners will head out on the road to square off against the West Shores Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Calexico Mission has struggled recently with 13 losses in a row, while West Shores will arrive with three straight wins.

Calexico Mission came up short against Julian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5, 25-12.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. West Shores came out on top against Warner by a score of 3-1.

West Shores was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-12.

The victory got West Shores back to even at 7-7. As for Calexico Mission, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Calexico Mission might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from West Shores when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the RoadRunners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
