Basketball Game Preview: Briarwood Christian Lions vs. Mountain Brook Spartans + How To Watch

Briarwood Christian hasn't had much luck against Mountain Brook recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Briarwood Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mountain Brook likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Briarwood Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Chilton County. They secured an 86-80 W over the Tigers. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Mountain Brook strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Ramsay 67-44.

Mountain Brook's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Briarwood Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Briarwood Christian suffered a grim 60-40 defeat to Mountain Brook in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
