Softball Game Preview: James Clemens Jets vs. East Limestone Indians

The James Clemens Jets are taking a road trip to take on the East Limestone Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. James Clemens has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

James Clemens came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Austin, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Jets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, East Limestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-5 to Brewer.

East Limestone saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scarlett Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

James Clemens has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-21-2 record this season. As for East Limestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
