Volleyball Recap: Mesa Takes a Loss

Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Chandler Wolves, falling 3-0. The Jackrabbits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Mesa was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chandler's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 26-24.

Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Chandler, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-14.

Mesa and Chandler will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Jackrabbits will face off against rival Dobson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chandler is set to take on their familiar foe Hamilton at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th.
