Recap: Holtville Vikings vs. O'Farrell Charter Falcons
The Holtville Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 47-37 to O'Farrell Charter. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Holtville has scored all season.
O'Farrell Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rafael Halabaso, who scored nine points. Sador Rusom was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Holtville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for O'Farrell Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holtville will take on Vincent Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. O'Farrell Charter will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horizon Prep at 4:15 p.m. on January 9th.
