Baseball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley fell victim to Placer and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Hillmen, falling 20-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Hillmen recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Placer, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
