Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilbert). They blew past the Airport Eagles 7-0 on Monday. Gilbert might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Airport from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Olivia Pitillo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Airport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Gilbert will welcome Dutch Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gilbert will be up against Dutch Fork's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
