The Del Oro Golden Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Casa Roble Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Del Oro is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
While Del Oro didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Sheldon on Thursday. Five seems to be a good number for the Golden Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Mikayla Finn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kate Brown 2026, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avyn Brower, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Casa Roble). They were the clear victor by an 18-2 margin over Del Campo on Thursday. With that win, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 7.7 runs per game.
Casa Roble also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Cassandra Alvarez gave up just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Alvarez.
On the hitting side, Casa Roble let Alyssa Godwin and Zaria Gee run wild. Godwin went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Gee scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. Those runs marked the first that Godwin scored this season. Autumn Imus was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
Casa Roble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .609. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Del Oro pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Casa Roble, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3-1.
Casa Roble's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Del Oro has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Casa Roble, though, as they've been averaging 12.2 hits. Given Del Oro's sizable advantage in that area, Casa Roble will need to find a way to close that gap.
