Soccer Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans was the 1-0 winner over Freedom when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Evans Trojans lost 6-0 to the Freedom Patriots on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 500th, while the Patriots are ranked 188th).

Evans' loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Freedom, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Evans didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Edgewater on the 11th. As for Freedom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Dr. Phillips on the 12th.
