Football Recap: Creek Wood Comes Up Short

After soaring to 36 points the game before, Creek Wood was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 19-13 to the Lawson Lightning. While the Red Hawks had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Lightning 6-0.

Although Creek Wood took the loss, they still got scores from Evin Evins and Xavier Knight.

Creek Wood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lawson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creek Wood will face off against Dickson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawson, they will challenge Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
