Baseball Recap: Mancelona Takes a Loss

Mancelona couldn't beat East Jordan on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Ironmen came up short against the Red Devils, falling 14-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Mancelona and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for East Jordan, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-7.

Looking ahead, Mancelona will square off against Inland Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Jordan, they are taking a road trip to square off against Boyne City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
