Football Preview: Dutchtown Bulldogs vs. Stephenson Jaguars
The Dutchtown Bulldogs will square off against the Stephenson Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Dutchtown came up short against South Gwinnett and fell 24-14.
Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last contest, Stephenson made sure to put some points up on the board against Arabia Mountain on Friday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stephenson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Johnson, who rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Cavalli Jackson was another key back, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Stephenson wouldn't let Arabia Mountain keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Stephenson can thank Anthony Booker and Kwame Green Jr. for forcing both of them. Dutchtown's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Stephenson, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
