Basketball Recap: Marionville Comes Up Short

Marionville was the 63-57 winner over Southwest when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Marionville Comets took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Trojans on Friday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marionville's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southwest, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Marionville will be home for the holidays to greet Clever at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest, they will venture away from home to square off against Galena at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
