Volleyball Recap: Northview's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Northview had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Salem Seminoles on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northview was: they took both sets by at least 20 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4.

Northview found their leader in freshman Olivia Ardis, who had 16 assists and seven aces. Lexie Lifshiz was another key player, getting six aces.

Northview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last ten matches.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Northview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Mount Pisgah Christian on the 2nd. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
