Basketball Recap: Drew Hayman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kings Way Christian School over North Georgia Christian Academy

Kings Way Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Georgia Christian Academy Knights.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Hayman, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Rangel, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points and eight boards.

Kings Way Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Kings Way Christian School will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for North Georgia Christian Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 43-28 loss against Eastgate Life Academy on the 20th.
