Beachwood took Wickliffe into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 23-25, 21-25, 15-10.
Beachwood relied on the efforts of Gianna Preston, who had 25 digs and two aces, and Rachael Fishman, who had 11 digs.
Meanwhile, Trinity came up short against Beachwood on Monday and fell 3-1.
The final score came out to 25-8, 20-25, 26-24, 25-11.
