Ramona had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this contest were averaging 3.59 runs allowed.

Seth Gaines looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Zack Nightingale was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Noah Bedia was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Ramona was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in eight consecutive games.

Ramona pushed their record up to 22-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Palo Verde Valley, their record is now 16-14-1.

Ramona will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellow Jackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
