On Thursday Kentridge's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Mt. Rainier Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted against the Rams since May 1, 2018.
Kenzie Coble was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Alissa Andrews also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Kentridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Rainier only posted a batting average of .192.
Kentridge's record is now 4-0. As for Mt. Rainier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Kentridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Tahoma on the 31st. Mt. Rainier has also already played their next match (against Auburn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
