Baseball Recap: Fletcher Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Fletcher duked it out with Union City on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fletcher saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Debois, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Fletcher and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Union City, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

As of now, neither Fletcher nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
