Volleyball Recap: Lake Norman's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Lake Norman hadn't done well against Davie County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the War Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the War Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Davie County scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19.

Natasha Price paced Lake Norman's offense, picking up 16 kills. Price got some help from Alayna Lefebvre and her 25 assists. Avery Bessho controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Davie County still got an impressive performance from Ella Shea, who had 16 digs and three aces. Shea is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Lake Norman's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-17. As for Davie County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Lake Norman has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mooresville on the 14th. Davie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
