Basketball Recap: Wharton Skates Past Milano with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stafford, Wharton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 93-27 win over the Milano Eagles. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

J'Dynn Lewis had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 58% from the field on his way to 26 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. The last time his shooting accuracy was this high was back in December of 2024. Brandon Sims was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Wharton's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Milano, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Wharton has already played their next matchup (against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Milano, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Snook at 6:00 p.m.
