Softball Recap: Biddeford Tigers vs. Marshwood Hawks

Biddeford won the last time they faced Marshwood and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Hawks. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 14 runs or more this season.

Madi Roy made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.

In other batting news, Biddeford got a massive performance out of Mariah Villandry, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI and three doubles. That's the most doubles Villandry has posted since back in May of 2024. Jaylah Trottier also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
