Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee was the 2-1 winner over Harrison when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoyas on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

When Cherokee and Harrison next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Warriors will square off against Walton and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harrison will try to stop River Ridge's four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
