Basketball Game Preview: Ridgewood Rebels vs. Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs

Ridgewood hasn't had much luck against Riverside-Brookfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ridgewood Rebels will venture away from home to challenge the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Ridgewood has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three matches.

Ridgewood saw some tournament action on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 71-48 margin over Leyden.

Meanwhile, Riverside-Brookfield came up short against Lemont on Monday and fell 70-58.

Ridgewood pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Ridgewood came up short against Riverside-Brookfield in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 58-50. Can Ridgewood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
