Football Recap: Mt. Pleasant Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mt. Pleasant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Hill Falcons 28-14 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Mt. Pleasant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brian Ayala and Jayden Mestaz. Mestaz is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.

Mt. Pleasant's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hill, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will face off against Prospect at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hill, they will head out on the road to take on San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
