Cedar Ridge entered their tilt with Georgetown on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 9-7. With that victory, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Hudson Hartgrove and Matthew Fletcher were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Hartgrove pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Fletcher tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Hartgrove has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. At the plate, Hartgrove went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Fletcher went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Diego Olivas, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kasen Langerhans was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Cedar Ridge pushed their record up to 19-6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Georgetown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12-1 record this season.

Cedar Ridge will challenge Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Georgetown, they will take on Lake Travis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
