Basketball Recap: Washington Leadership Academy Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Washington Latin Public Charter School

On Friday, Washington Leadership Academy faced Washington Latin Public Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Washington Leadership Academy took a 30-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions. Washington Leadership Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Washington Latin Public Charter School apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Karen Hernandez-Ramos and Jamylah Summers certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hernandez-Ramos posted eight points, while Summers put up eight points.
