Basketball Preview: Navarre Raiders vs. Crestview Bulldogs
The Navarre Raiders's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Crestview Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Friday, Navarre came up short against the Dolphins and fell 62-54.
Meanwhile, Crestview waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They snuck past Walton with a 56-52 victory. The victory was all the more spectacular given Crestview's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Braves are ranked 112th).
Navarre has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Crestview, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11.
Things could have been worse for Navarre, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 75-61 loss to the Bulldogs when the teams last played last Thursday. Can Navarre avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
