Baseball Recap: Pine Plains Comes Up Short

Pine Plains suffered their biggest defeat since May 14, 2025 on Monday. They came up short against the Red Hook Raiders, falling 8-2. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bombers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Pine Plains saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Fredericks, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Fredericks has hit this season.

Pine Plains' loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Red Hook, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Plains will challenge Our Lady of Lourdes at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Red Hook, they will take on Highland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
