The Buffalo Bison will head out on the road to challenge the Elkhart Elks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
Buffalo is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairfield just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Elkhart ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Fairfield 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Elks as they're now sitting on five straight.
Gracie Wade spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ella Lively, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Londyn Holland was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.
Elkhart's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Buffalo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .511. However, it's not like Elkhart struggles in that department as they've averaged .517. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Buffalo skirted past Elkhart 8-6 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
