Volleyball Game Preview: Primero Bulldogs vs. Cheyenne Wells Tigers

The Primero Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Cheyenne Wells Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Primero will be strutting in after a win while Cheyenne Wells will be coming in after a loss.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Primero prevailed. They put the hurt on Mountain Valley with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Primero was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Eads. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Eagles since October 31, 2019.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Cheyenne Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Primero, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
