Softball Game Preview: Molalla Indians vs. Gladstone Gladiators

For the second straight game, Molalla will face off against Gladstone. The Indians will take on the Gladiators at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Molalla is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Molalla and Gladstone meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Indians took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators.

Brenna Jackson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
