Volleyball Recap: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. Evansville North Huskies

If Jeffersonville was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rock Creek Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Evansville North Huskies on Saturday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jenna Kelley paced Jeffersonville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kelley got some help from Riley Dobson and her 20 assists.

Evansville North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mia Porter out in front who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Porter has posted since back in August of 2024.

Jeffersonville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Evansville North, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Jeffersonville and Evansville North will both be playing Lanesville the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will host the Eagles at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
